UK TV Programs are great for Family Time

Here is just a small selection we did on UK TV Programs that are on TV these days.

12th July

The Windsors

The Windsors are a satire that evokes the glory days of the British Royal Family. Watch it on Channel 4 at 22:00 UK time.

Fargo

Fargo is a TV Serie done completely according to events that have happened, and that makes it much scarier because one is introduced to the capabilities of bad nature of some people. The First Season truly froze my blood at some moments, and this effect is still lasting. Don’t miss it on Channel 4 at 10:40 PM UK time.

Jaws

I always had a fear of sharks whenever I was swimming in the Sea, and this film surely didn’t help out. Nonetheless, Steven Spielberg’s intense shark movie is one of the best movies of this kind ever made. A Great White Shark that is terrorising people is truly something that sticks in your mind when you go to a holiday, but it is just that good that I will have to watch it again! Watch it on ITV4 at 21:00 PM UK time or catch up on it in the next 7 days.

Rise of the Planet of the Apes

Comes from the British Director Rupert Wyatt, who is also known for his debut The Escapist. The movie is strange but metaphorically it represents the way our society works. Watch on Film4 at 10:40 PM UK time.

13th July

Who Do You Think You Are?

A BBC One classic where celebrities go on individual journeys to answer questions regarding the history of their families. On the next episode, watch Craig Revel Horwood, a judge from Strictly Come Dancing as he opens his family’s history. Watch on BBC One at 21:00 UK Time.

14th July

Training Day

A great thriller featuring Denzel Washington, who got the Best Actor Oscar for his great performance. He plays the cop, Alonzo Harris, a maverick that breaks the rules to get the results. Watch it on Dave at midnight UK time.
