Because of this, we added a couple of further recommendations for you to check. Hope you’ll find them pleasing and do share your thoughts with us. But as one shows end, the others appear.
All the Finales
Howards End, the BBC One series ended last Sunday. You can Catch Up on its last episode. But, that is not all, the X-Factor has ended too and Strictly is soon to end also. This weekend, be sure not to miss Blue Planet II that shall air its final episode. Re-runs are available on other channels.
John Inverdale presents live coverage of the 136th Varsity men’s match between Cambridge and Oxford from Twickenham. Cambridge ended a run of six straight defeats in the Varsity match to beat Oxford in 2016, with Rory Triniman’s late try sealing a 23-18 win for the Light Blues. They now lead Oxford with 62 wins to 59 but who will come out on top in the battle of the Blues this year? With commentary by Andrew Cotter. Studio guests include Wales centre Jamie Roberts, who played for Cambridge in the 2015 Varsity match. Aired on December 7th at 14:45 on BBC Two.
Movies: Marry Me At Christmas
A part of the Christmas Movies saga and it aired on December 6th at 15:45 on Channel 4. It’s that time of love, sharing and happiness during the cold winter days and nights. This is a nice movie for couples and families to dive into the warmth and share some beautiful moments. A bridal boutique owner (Rachel Skarsten) is deep in the flurry of planning an exquisite Christmas wedding. She gets unexpectedly swept off her feet by the brother of the bride (Trevor Donovan).
Music and Arts: Britain’s Lost Masterpieces
Dr Bendor Grosvenor, a historian and art dealer and Jacky Klein, an art historian celebrate the UK’s local art treasures as they track down lost and hidden paintings from local museums and galleries. The show aired on BBC Four at 22:30 on the 4th of December so you have time to Catch Up with it.
Highly Recommended: Blue Planet II
The series concludes with a look at the ways human activity can impact on aquatic wildlife, including albatrosses unwittingly feeding their offspring plastic, mother dolphins with contaminated milk, and communications between animals being disrupted by noise. However, there are signs of hope, including the thriving Norwegian Spring-Spawning Herring, previously on the brink of extinction, and efforts to save endangered species like the whale shark and to preserve the eggs of giant leatherback turtles. Read More about Blue Planet II.
