    Terms of Service

    1. What is new?

      These Terms replace the previous ones dated December 2019. This time the big change we
      made is to remove as much of the legal jargon as we could, turning this into a human
      readable document. We wanted to make sure that is clear to both you and to us what our
      Terms mean, without having to go and ask our lawyers. Hope you like it.

    2. Introduction

      All of the information, services and products made available by us are for purposes of
      convenience are referred to as “Service” The use of our Services which includes
      accessing our website and or purchasing a membership or add-ons are conditional upon
      your acceptance of these terms of service.

    3. Explaining Some Definitions

      • “Teeveeing” our brand name used to indicate the combined delivery of services,
        products, information, support, etc. also referred to as “Teeveeing experience”.
      • “Terms” are all the terms and conditions that are written down in this Terms of
        Service document.
      • “Service” – we provide a lot of things, that is why we wrote a separate section to
        describe what is included.
      • “Membership” a subscription that provides Members with access to our Service.
      • “Member” anyone that uses our Service, also referred to in this document as “You”.
      • “Add-on” all that can be accessed or purchased additionally on top of your
        membership, also referred to as modules, products or tools.
      • “Residence” means the territory or country in which a Member resides or situated at
        the time of accessing our Service.
      • “Original Content” refers to all content that does not come via the satellite
        streams, this includes video on demand and other sources of video, including our own
        productions.
      • “FTA” refers to live unencrypted satellite broadcasts transmitted as Free-To-Air
        that can be received and watched for free by anyone with the appropriate equipment.
    4. Agreeing with these Terms

      Changes in technology, the law, and how members use our service – just to name a few –
      have an impact on the continued development of our Service, all these changes shall be
      subject to our Terms.

      If you do not agree to our Terms please leave and do not use our service. We are of
      course eager and happy to hear from you why you do not agree, please do not hesitate to
      let us know, maybe we can resolve it.

    5. Description of Our Service

      Teeveeing equips its Members with the means to access FTA satellite broadcasts.

      Whereas traditionally you would use your own dish and satellite decoder box we provide
      you with a virtualized service that replaces this expensive and clumsy hardware kit,
      that often is no longer allowed to be placed by local governments.

      Our Service allows Members to access the live satellite broadcasts in real-time via an
      uninterrupted chain of communication. This allows you to watch Telly ‘from home’ abroad
      using a variety of your devices such as PC, Laptop, TV box, Tablet, Phone and TV.

      Access is given in real-time, which means you will connect one-on-one to get plain TV
      abroad ‘from home’ to stay in touch with your own culture, language and compatriots.

      Teeveeing does not restream, alter, edit, change or add any advertising or in any other way
      sell, or distribute or exploit the FTA channels. We solely provide technology to access
      the aforementioned broadcasts.

      Teeveeing add-ons and modules may consist of information such as a TV guide, third party
      licensed channels or video on demand can be delivered in other formats, for example via
      modern streaming technology which may involve IPTV or OTT delivery.

      Teeveeing offers cloud based personal video recording (PVR) that complies with the Spanish
      Copyright Law 2/2019 and the Spanish Copyright Act, and consequently with the Directive
      93/83/EC, Directive 2001/29/EC, Directive 2014/26/EU, and any other relevant governing
      law.

      Our Service is compliant with the European Court of Justice rulings on free-to-air
      satellite channels: C 607/11, C‑138/16, and any other relevant judgement.

    6. Using the Service / Membership

      You must be at least 18 years of age, or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction
      to qualify for a membership.

      Members may use the Services for their private, personal and domestic purposes only and
      provided they are situated within the area for which the broadcast was intended to be
      viewed or they are legally eligible to access the content.

      Members acknowledge that the availability of certain TV channels may vary if using the
      services in a different country to that of the country of their personal residence.

      Your Membership is personal, non-transferable and not intended to be shared.

      Unless specified otherwise, your membership permits you to concurrently use the Services
      on one applicable device at any one time.

      For legal purposes, you may be asked for additional proof of your residence. Not
      complying with the request will result in termination of the Services.

    7. What You May Not Do

      You may not use it for any illegal or unauthorized purpose or use it in such a way you
      are violating any laws in your jurisdiction.

      Members agree not to restream, distribute, reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell,
      publicly display, make available to third parties, or exploit anything part of,
      contained within, or accessible through our Service.

    8. Payments and Fees

      Membership is based on periodic membership fee and will be suspended or cancelled if we
      do not receive the fees in time.

      You agree at all times to provide and keep up to date current, complete and accurate
      purchase and account information including your email address and payment information so
      that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

      Membership fees are subject to change without notice.

    9. Refund Policy

      Our refund policy varies depending on your Teeveeing membership.

      Holiday TV, Expat TV monthly and Family TV monthy memberships.

      You can request a refund within 7 days from purchase, provided you have not watched more than 60 minutes of live or recorded TV. Customers who experience and report technical issues that our support team are unable to resolve satisfactorily are also eligible for a refund for that calendar month.

      Expat TV annual and Family TV annual memberships.

      You can request a refund within 60 days of purchasing or renewing your membership. We’ll refund your outstanding balance minus any months used. This is calculated as follows.

      For every month used, we will deduct the cost of an equivalent Teeveeing monthly membership – €9.99 per month for Expat TV, €18.99 per month for Family TV – from your outstanding balance. For example, if you took out a Teeveeing Expat TV Annual membership on 17th October for €89.99 and claimed a refund on 15th December, we would refund you €70.01. (€89.99 – €19.98).

      After 60 days from the date of purchase, the refund window closes. You can cancel your Teeveeing membership but will not receive a refund.

      To claim your refund, email support@teeveeing.com. Refunds are typically processed within 72 hours, though this varies with the card provider.

    10. TV License Fee

      Many countries ask for a TV license fee to be paid even when you watch TV from your own
      home country. A Teeveeing membership does not include this license fee. Paying this fee is
      your own responsibility and although we can not limit the membership based on
      non-payment we believe you should be paying this TV Licence fee. Please pay your home
      countries license fee, because it is important for the broadcasters and helps to keep
      them transmitting your favorite channels as Free-To-Air.

    11. Your Data

      We use various technologies to collect and store information, including cookies, pixel
      tags, local storage, such as browser web storage or application data caches, databases
      and server logs. You understand that your personal information may be transferred or
      transmitted over various networks without encryption. We promise that sensitive payment
      details are secured and encrypted during network transmissions. We have no desire to
      infringe your privacy while using our site and Service and we will never provide your
      personal information to anyone else except as set out in privacy policy, our general terms or if we sell our business in whole or in part.

      You have the right to delete your data.

      Teeveeing cares about your privacy and follows the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). According to the GDPR, you can ask us to delete your personal information from our systems. However, there are some things you should know before making this request.

      Some information needs to be retained by us for a certain period of time for legitimate
      business requirements such as for financial record-keeping purposes, or where we have to
      comply with legal or regulatory requirements and to provide security, fraud & abuse
      prevention. For example, when Teeveeing processes a payment for you, or when you make a
      payment to Teeveeing, we’ll retain this data for longer periods of time as required for
      tax or accounting purposes.

      How to Request Data Deletion:

      To delete your personal data, you need to cancel your Teeveeing subscription first. Once your subscription is cancelled, you can use the Teeveeing app to request the deletion of your data. We will send an automatic email to our support team to start the deletion process.

      Risks and Responsibilities:

      Please remember that sharing your sign in details with others is not allowed. If someone else has access to your account and requests data deletion, it may lead to the deletion of your account and all its data. Teeveeing is not responsible for any data loss in such cases.

      After submitting a data deletion request, our support team will email you to explain the risks involved. This includes permanently losing your account and all its data, which cannot be recovered once deleted.

      Changing Your Mind:

      If you change your mind, you have 48 hours to withdraw your data deletion request after receiving the email from our support team. If we don’t hear from you within that time, we will proceed with the deletion of your data.

      Please remember that deleting your personal information is permanent and cannot be undone. Take the time to think about it before submitting a deletion request.

    12. Restrictions on Satellite Broadcasts

      From time to time certain programming may be blacked out on the satellite because of
      licensing restrictions that are imposed on the broadcasters. Teeveeing is not responsible for
      these blackouts.

    13. Refusal and Termination

      We reserve the right to refuse or cancel, at our sole discretion, a Membership without
      having to provide you with a reason, if we decide to do so we do this out of courtesy
      only.

      We will limit or prohibit memberships that appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or
      distributors.

      Breaching our Terms will result in an immediate cancellation of your Membership without a
      refund.

    14. Limitation of Liability / Accuracy of Information / Errors,
      Omissions and Inaccuracies

      Our Service is provided as a consumer service and intended for entertainment purposes
      only.
      By being a member you agree that your use of, or inability to use, our Service is at
      your sole risk. It is provided ‘as is’ and ‘as available’ for your use, without any
      representation, warranties or conditions of any kind. We can not guarantee that Service
      is flawless or that it will meet your expectations.

      We modify the contents of this site continuously and have no obligation to update,
      correct, amend or clarify information, this includes pricing information.

      We reserve the right at any time to modify, remove or cancel parts of our Service
      including add-ons, content and features without notice to you, although we endeavour to
      always keep you up to date.

      Changes in the law, availability or uptime of satellite broadcasts, any modification of
      information or content provided by third parties, price changes, can lead to the
      suspension or even discontinuance of our Service.

    15. Few more things about these Terms

      In no circumstances Teeveeing is liable for any damages you incur by using our
      Service.

      When a provision of these Terms is determined to be unlawful, void or unenforceable, that
      part of these terms shall be removed but the Terms remain in force.

      These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the
      European Union and are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole
      discretion.

    16. Intellectual property complaints

      We respect the intellectual property rights of others, and require that you do the same.
      If you believe that your intellectual property or other rights are being affected by
      anything on the site or are making a copyright-based claim regarding content please
